Sometimes I really have a cool job, and then it can stink

Friday started out great. I went on a really cool story. I can't reveal the exact angle, but we went to The Mirage and their dolphin habitat. As you see, I got to pet one of the dolphins.




Rob Klein, the photographer I usually work with, kissed the dolphin.



But reporter Collette Wieland got even more intimate with one of the dolphins.



But then I went back to work, and my bosses made a major change and let one of my key co-workers go. So, really cool, and then really uncool, all in one day. And that's pretty much working in tv news.
